High drug loading in final drug product

The unique pore structure and high surface area of the Formulite^® matrix allow for high drug loading, typically in the range of 20–50 %, while maintaining good powder flowability and content uniformity.

Unlike polymer-based amorphous formulations produced by spray drying or hot-melt extrusion, where high polymer content limits drug loading, Formulite allows a higher proportion of API in the final dosage form, enabling smaller tablets and capsules.

Easier to stay on treatment

By enabling smaller tablets and capsules and fewer pills, Formulite supports more convenient dosing regimens. A lower tablet volume and simplified administration can improve the overall treatment experience, helping patients adhere more consistently to prescribed therapy.
