High drug loading in final drug product

The unique pore structure and high surface area of the Formulite matrix allow for high drug loading, typically in the range of 20–50 %, while maintaining good powder flowability and content uniformity.

Unlike polymer-based amorphous formulations produced by spray drying or hot-melt extrusion, where high polymer content limits drug loading, Formulite allows a higher proportion of API in the final dosage form, enabling smaller tablets and capsules.
